Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for NotationAI subscriptions. It applies alongside our Terms of Service. The free tier has no charges, so this policy concerns the paid “Pro” subscription.

1. Free tier

The NotationAI free tier is free of charge and does not require payment, so there is nothing to cancel or refund. You can use it for as long as you like.

2. Free trial

The yearly Pro plan includes a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and the plan fee is charged.

3. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time. After you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and it will not renew. You keep access to Pro features until that period ends.

For purchases made on the web, you can cancel by contacting us at support@notationai.app or via the customer portal provided by our payment processor. For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, manage or cancel your subscription in your store account settings.

4. Refunds

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period you choose, and renewals are generally non-refundable for the period already started. We do, however, want you to be satisfied — see the satisfaction window below.

5. 7-day satisfaction window

If you are not satisfied with a Pro subscription, contact us within 7 days of your initial charge at support@notationai.app and we will review your request and, where appropriate, issue a refund for that charge. This window applies to the first paid charge of a new subscription, not to subsequent renewals.

6. How refunds are processed

Refunds for web purchases are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, back to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your payment provider. Refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
