Does the MusicXML viewer upload my score?
No. File parsing, normalization, and engraving run in the browser. The score is transferred to the editor only through this tab when you choose to continue.
Can it open compressed MXL files?
Yes. The viewer accepts MusicXML, XML, and compressed MXL files and follows the score path declared by the archive when present.
Why can layout differ from the source application?
MusicXML carries notation and many layout hints, but each notation application has its own engraving rules and fonts. Check pagination and specialized symbols after any interchange.
